Mini-Spike® 2
Withdrawal and injection spike for multi-dose containers with integrated Safeflow valve
From practice
The multi-dose container has already been opened and the rubber stopper has already been punctured several times with a needle. The closure is already slightly porous.
Resulting problems can be:
- Particles from the closure can enter into the medication
- The surface can no longer be sufficiently disinfected
- Bacteria can contaminate the medication
- Liquid can escape: The concentration of the medication may change
- Liquid can escape
- A needle must be used
The Mini-Spike® 2 can help to sustainably improve this process: The spike is inserted into the medication. Withdrawal takes place needle-free through the disinfectable valve. It can also be withdrawn upside down without dripping. The valve is automatically closed when the syringe is disconnected.
Sterifix® injection filter
Injection filter with Luer-Lock connectors
From practice
The treatment of intensive care patients requires special care. For central venous or epidural injections, special hygiene measures must be observed, as bacteria and particles can quickly enter the bloodstream and central nervous system. This poses a particular danger for immunosuppressed intensive care patients. By interposing a Sterifix® filter, particles and bacteria can be filtered out before they reach the patient.
Medibox®
Disposal container for the disposal of sharp and pointed objects in the veterinary environment
From practice
The injection is over and the needle is firmly attached to the syringe. Now the needle must be separated from the syringe and disposed of. The Medibox® offers various openings for touch-free disposal, thus protecting the user. Additionally, the Medibox® can be permanently closed, is break-resistant, stable, and puncture-proof.
Softasept® N
Rapid skin disinfection before injections and punctures
From practice
In everyday practice, things have to be done quickly, the patient has to be prepared for his / her injection and the next treatment is pending. This makes it all the more practical to have the disinfectant ready to use and close at hand.
