As a monofilament suture, Dafilon® promotes fewer infections  [1-4] than comparable braided sutures. In veterinary practices and clinics, Dafilon® is particularly popular for skin sutures. Dafilon® is characterised by its good handling and cost-effectiveness.

The monofilament advantage

Dafilon® is a non-absorbable synthetic monofilament suture made of polymers polyamide 6/6.6 (dyed blue), polyamide 6.6 (dyed black) or polyamide 6 (undyed).
